A damp, well squeezed cloth wetted in water or a delicate detergent solution designed for cleaning upholstery should be used to remove stains and soiling. Stains made by biro, lipstick, paint or newspaper print should be cleaned with liquids designed for this type of soiling. It is recommended to first apply the detergent to a sample of fabric located in a less visible place.
ATTENTION! Liquids poured over fabric covered with Teflon® (Varana) must be immediately dried with a clean cloth to prevent penetration of upholstery by the liquid. The Teflon® coating is subject to gradual wear and tear when the upholstery is cleaned more often. The Teflon® coating can be conserved (it is recommended to conserve the cover every year) by using professional liquids. You can check which detergents can be used at local specialists who deal with the cleaning of carpets and upholstery.
